100% Pass Rate at Colour Belt Grading

Taekwondo grading success!

Congratulations to all 18 of our members who passed their colour belt grading this week!

Every four months, our students have the chance to show what they’ve learned and move up to the next belt. This week’s grading, held in Barnstaple, was no exception, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result: every single student who stepped onto the floor passed.

With 18 members of different ages and belt levels taking part, the evening was a real celebration of effort. Younger students demonstrated their patterns, techniques and focus, while our more experienced members showed the confidence and control in their semi-contact sparring that come from months of consistent training.

Special congratulations go to Megan as she achieved an A grade pass, a fantastic reward for consistent hard work and an exceptional performance on the day.

We were once again honoured to have 9th Dan Grand Master Michael Dew as our attending grading examiner. Having an examiner of that standing is a great privilege, and it gave every student the chance to be assessed to the highest standard.

A big thank you to our instructors for their hard work, our black belts for giving up their evening and to the parents and families for their support in getting students to classes, practising at home and cheering them on.

Gradings are held every four months, so there’s always a new goal to work towards.

Whether you’re a parent wondering if Tae Kwon-Do might suit your child, or an adult looking for a new challenge, we’d love to welcome you along to our classes. Get in touch to book a free trial class and see what our club is all about.

Well done to everyone who graded. We’re proud of you all!
